About these Holiday Cottages

Nestled on the edge of the North York Moors near Pickering and surrounded by North Yorkshire countryside, The Huntsman self catering cottages provide an idyllic base for a family or couples getaway.  Three traditional Yorkshire holiday cottages are available, situated in the charming village of Wrelton.  All properties are beautifully presented with high quality furnishings and maintained period features throughout.  Guests can enjoy beautiful views and country walks from their front door and the historic city of York and popular seaside town of Whitby are only a short drive away.  Free off road parking is onsite and Wi-Fi internet access is available during your stay.

Accommodation

Our three beautifully presented properties are ideal for either families or couples and are all pet friendly.

The Gelding Cottage sleeps six people in a double bedroom, a twin room and a double sofa bed.

Bay and Horseshoe sleep two people and have one double bedroom in each.

All three have modern self catering kitchens, each equipped with all the essentials that you will need for your holiday including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer.

The spacious lounges in our cottages feature either a 28 or 32 inch TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player.  Cottages also boast comfortable leather or fabric suites – ideal for relaxing into after a long day.

Family bathrooms in each cottage have either a large walk in shower unit or bath with shower over.

Feel free to enjoy the sunshine in the shared patio area with BBQ and outdoor seating.

Bed linen and towels are provided on your arrival and all electricity and rates are included in the booking price.  Highchairs, travel cots and fold-out beds can be provided for children and we have plenty of off road parking spaces.  Please note that Horseshoe Cottage is situated on the ground floor and accessed via a conservatory.
