The 16 mile long and 7 mile wide Gower Peninsula was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956 and is famed for its Blue Flag beaches, stunning coastline dotted with craggy cliffs and small coves, and the wealth of watersports and outdoor activity opportunities. The Gower is only a 30 minute drive from Swansea and there's something for all on the Peninsula from beautiful coast and country walks to ancient archaeological sites and historic castles.
