About this Holiday Cottage
Nightingale Cottage is an upside down cottage on the owner's arable farm in Stamford Bridge near to York. The cottage sleeps six people and has three ground floor bedrooms - one king-size double bedroom and two twins, all with en-suites. The cottage also has a first floor open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking, access to a fishing lake and a private decked patio with a hot tub. Set in beautiful countryside and with plenty of touring opportunities, Nightingale Cottage is a superb holiday home all year round.
Three ground floor bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en-suite bath, separate shower, basin and WC, 2 x twin (zip/link, can be super king-size double on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. First floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Around and About
Stamford Bridge was a fording point over the River Derwent for a Roman settlement, but nowadays is a town with a selection of shops and restaurants. The village is the site of the Battle of Stamford Bridge on 25 September 1066, which marked the end of the Viking era in Britain.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
