Perfect for relaxing family breaks and celebrations, Ivy Cottage is a stunning 19th century cottage situated in the village of Darley in Nidderdale. The property is beautifully appointed throughout and features spacious living accommodation which opens up onto the wonderful sunny garden. Ivy Cottage is ideal for families but please note that we do not accept children under twelve years old. The property is also strictly No Smoking.
The contemporary lounge has three large sofas, a wood burner stove set in the stone hearth and a flat screen TV with DVD player. In addition, this room has a beamed ceiling and access into the sun-room with occasional furniture and doors leading into the garden. The living accommodation also includes a cosy family snug with surround sound TV/ DVD player and a beautiful beamed central dining hall with French antique furniture, original parquet floor and window seat.
The stunning kitchen is well appointed with an Aga, combi oven with microwave, grill and oven, a large fridge/ freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and plenty of storage space.

The peaceful half acre garden faces to the south-west and has a large grassy area ideal for picnics. There is also a patio seating area, a stable (unsecured) which is ideal for storage, garden furniture store and plenty of parking for four cars.
Other Things to Note
The property has alarm which guests are provided with the code for. The rental charge includes fuel, linen, towels, gas central heating and an initial stock of wood for the log burner.
The owner may occasionally require access to the locked garage onsite.
Short breaks of two nights or more may be available. Please note that we do not accept pets. Children over twelve years old are accepted.

The cottage is ideal for experiencing scenic walks and cycle rides in Nidderdale - An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nearby bus services can take you to Harrogate and Pateley Bridge or walk to the popular Wellington Inn and Darley Mill Centre. Other attractions in the surrounding area including Ripon Cathedral, Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Ripley Castle, Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks.
