Granary Cottage sits close to award-winning Hillside caravan park at the foot of the Hambleton Hills between Thirsk and Northallerton. Sleeping four guests, the cottage is an excellent place to stay for those after a relaxing holiday close to the North York Moors National Park. Our beautiful property has incredible views and is surrounded by walking routes, making us ideal for those interested in taking in the great outdoors. A public footpath runs through the farmstead and connects up with a network of other public paths and bridleways into the North York Moors and onto the Cleveland Way National Trail.
InsideThe cottage is a stunning stone barn conversion retaining original beams combined with a contemporary design.
Spacious open plan living space on the ground floor includes living, dining and kitchen areas.
The kitchen has been equipped with modern appliances including a fridge with a freezer box, an electric cooker, dishwasher, washer/ dryer and small appliances such as a kettle and microwave.
A wc is located on the ground floor.
We have a wifi connection that is available throughout the cottage, and we are happy to allow families with young children to stay with us.Bedrooms / BathroomsOur self catering accommodation can sleep a maximum of 5 people, with a double room, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge.
The double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over.
Adjoining the twin bedroom is a shower room with an electric corner shower, wc, wash basin, a heated towel rail, shaver point and a large mirror. Bed linen is included.
Ideal for two couple as both bedrooms are ensuite. Also ideal for a family.Other Things to Note
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets to stay. We have off road parking available on our front driveway, and our cottage is located close to our award winning caravan park.

Around and About
There are a number of excellent pub restaurants in nearby Knayton and Borrowby, and the bustling market towns of Thirsk and Northallerton are within easy reach. The cottage is the perfect western gateway into the North York Moors, just a short distance from Rievaulx Abbey, Helmsley and the Park's flagship visitor centre - Sutton Bank.

Take a left turn off the A19 signed for Knayton. After a 1/4 mile turn right, across the bridge over the A19. Continue on through the village. After around 1 1/2 miles our park - Hillside Caravan Park is just on the left. A note to Sat Nav users - do not turn off the road until you see the entrance to Hillside Caravan Park after about 1 1/2 miles.
