Ashbourne Heights is the perfect choice for Peak District holidays. Nestled in the countryside on an elevated position, you’ll enjoy breath-taking views of the Peak District National Park day after day. The famous Tissington Trail is right at the entrance to the park.
We’ve got a wide range of accommodation for you to choose from, including lodges, luxury caravans, a glamping pod and safari lodge tents. All accommodation includes bed linen with beds made up ready for your arrival. We’re also a popular choice for touring and camping holidays, with a variety of different pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes.
Our guests can make the most of the great facilities we have on our park, including our heated indoor swimming pool, a children’s outdoor play area, a shop for all those daily essentials and a launderette.
Our range of accommodation is ideal for families and couples with pet friendly options available. Parking for one car is available outside our lodges and next to our camping pitches and is free of charge. Our campsite has a choice of grass or hard standing pitches with superb camping facilities and electric hook up available.
Our selection of attractive luxury lodges sleep between four and six and have their own private verandas with garden furniture and views across the countryside.
We have two- or three-bedroom models available that sleep up to eight people and are fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfy self-catering stay. Each has plenty of space, separate bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and shower room, plus double glazing and heating to keep you cosy.
We have two different types of glamping accommodation for you to choose from. Our cosy wooden glamping pod and new safari lodges both offer a unique glamping experience. All our glamping accommodation comes with a hot tub, pillows, duvets, bed linen, kitchenette with cutlery & crockery, fridge, sink and microwave. There’s also a private WC, sink & shower, electricity, lighting and your own parking space.
Our Peak Distract camping and touring site has a choice of grass or hard standing pitches, with or without electric hook-up. There are also pitches with space for awnings and gazebos for your added convenience and we welcome pets, so feel free to bring your dog along too*. Dogs occur an additional charge.

The campsite is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park with a wide range of attractions and stunning walking/cycling routes accessible from the park. Enjoy the natural beauty that the national park has to offer and take on the 13 miles Tissington Trail – ideal for bikers and walkers or those looking for an ideal picnic spot.
For days out away from the countryside, historic Chatsworth house is only a short drive from the park and features fine art, acres of landscaped gardens and giant water features or for those who fancy something more adrenaline based, Alton Towers theme park is only half an hours drive away.
Self-catering short breaks of 3 nights and upwards are available from March – mid January. 7-night bookings have a changeover day of either Friday, Saturday or Monday. 4-night breaks run midweek from Monday to Friday and 3-night breaks run from Friday to Monday. Check in is from 4pm and all accommodation must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
