Rosemary Cottage sleeping up to 0 guests
About this Property
Once a row of three tiny 300-year-old tin miner's cottages, Rosemary Cottage is now a spacious, comfortable single storey dwelling retaining many attractive original features. Situated on Kit Hill, in a Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a world heritage site and one of the highest points in Cornwall, the cottage is within the owners' quiet and secluded garden. Reached down a long private drive, the property enjoys glorious far reaching views from Dartmoor to Bodmin Moor and is perfect for those who want to explore Devon and Cornwall. There are miles of walking trails from the doorstep and both the moors are easily accessible by car as are many National Trust properties and gardens, golf courses and as well as The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. Indeed all the main Cornish attractions and both coasts are within reasonable travelling distance from this most attractive, peaceful and unspoilt spot. A welcome pack including cream tea on arrival and fresh eggs and vegetables (when available) are provided by the owner and the cottage is supplied by its own spring water.

Rosemary Cottage - a gem, so cosy and beautiful. Put together with so much thought with all the lovely features. A cottage with heart. We have enjoyed watching the changing weather over the landscape, listening to the hens clucking away, the log fire and so much more. We had hoped for a week of peace and tranquility - it has been perfect. David & Sue, Totnes.
We have had a wonderful quiet week in your beautiful cottage. Thank you. The cream tea with your homemade apricot almond jam was delicious.
