A small racecourse of the year award-winner, Wetherby Racecourse in West Yorkshire is a legend in National Hunt Racing. Fixtures & Highlights
Wetherby’s 18 racing meets are from January to May and from October to December, and they feature both midweek and Saturday race meets as well as some fantastic themed racing days including a Medieval Day and popular Christmas meets, part of the Yorkshire Christmas Racing Festival. Fixture highlights include major National Hunt Calendar meet, The bet 365 Charlie Hall Meeting, a two day race meet at the end of October annually. The racecourse hosts an annual Ladies’ evening event at the end of May and great family days.
Choose from three first class Enclosures at Wetherby – the Premier Enclosure, Paddock Enclosure and Course Enclosure. The Premier Enclosure affords access to the fantastic Millennium Stand plus seating in the grandstand located in a prime position just opposite the winner’s post. An outstanding choice of food and drink options are here including the Marston Moor Bar on the second level of the Millennium Stand, the White Horse Mezzanine Bar with views across to the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure and the White Rose Restaurant with a la carte menu located on level three with views across to the Paddock Enclosure and Parade Ring.
The Paddock Enclosure includes access to the Bramham Stand and Bramham Hall, plus the last Fence for views of the Home Straight. This popular Enclosure contains a choice of bars and food/ snack outlets. The third and best value Enclosure is The Course Enclosure right in the centre of the racecourse, with ‘Cars-to-Course’ entrance option and ample parking available. This Enclosure is popular with racegoers on a budget and puts you right in the heart of the racing action!

Conference Centre – The Bramham Hall
Located just off the A1 and within easy reach of the M1 and M62 motorways, Wetherby Racecourse is renowned for its excellent Conference and Exhibition spaces, and is a popular choice of dinner dances, wedding receptions and all kinds of celebrations and parties. The Bramham Hall Conference and Exhibition Centre is Wetherby’s largest function suite, boasting state of the art facilities and equipment.
The Hall sits on the ground floor of the racecourses’ Millennium Stand and can hold up to 600 delegates in a theatre style layout. Conference events from 15 delegates to 600 are happily catered for, with a choice of Day Delegate rates available. Bramham Hall also hosts big fairs and events through the year including popular Antiques Fairs.
Wetherby Racecourse is one of the most accessible of all the Yorkshire Racecourses, situated only minutes off the A1(M), Junction 46 – Postcode LS22 5EJ. Acres of free parking are available onsite and your nearest stations are at Leeds around 12 miles from the Racecourse and at York just 14 miles away. A regular bus services from Leeds runs to Wetherby Bus Station every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday and each hour on a Sunday. Leeds Bradford Airport is also within an easy drive.
Once in Wetherby town centre, the racecourse is around a half mile walk via North Street from Market Place and onto York Road. On the busiest race meet days a free shuttle bus services operates from Wetherby Bus Station to the Racecourse.
