One of Scotland’s premier arts festivals, Perth Festival of The Arts takes place annually across 11 days in May and is a magical mix of music, comedy, art exhibitions and theatre including outstanding children’s theatre. Attracting acclaimed artists across various genres, this long-standing Scottish festival was founded in 1972 and represents one of Scotland’s longest running arts festivals.
Some big name performers have graced the stage of stunning venues such as the Perth Concert Hall in recent years including Paul Merton, Van Morrison, Jools Holland, Seth Lakeman and The Hallé Orchestra. A core part of the festival is the staging of full scale opera annually.
