Edinbugh International Science Festival
Edinburgh’s International Science Festival, usually held annually in April, is a high profile educational and fun festival.
Amongst its many events are the Mini Maker Faire which celebrates the culture of DIY and construction and will incorporate talks, demonstrations, workshops and interactive activities, and LateLab, which allows festival-goers to “listen, learn, make, eat and interact”. Defined as “sociable science for adults”, LateLab promises to complement other programmed events by providing a collaborative environment. In addition, the City Art Centre temporarily becomes a scientific playground crammed with interactive events, workshops and shows.
