Marvel at indoor steamy jungle worlds with waterfalls and colourful tropical flora, see spectacular year round garden displays and state of the art sculpture, designs and architecture. The Eden Project offers a wealth of entertainment and fun things to do from evening concerts and a winter ice rink to a fantastic Rainforest Aerial Walkway, a treetops walk and The Skywire, England’s longest zip wire. A free mini land train makes it easy to move around the huge complex and alongside the biomes is The Core, an interactive education centre exploring themes such as evolution, ecosystems and climate change.
Two vast biomes or giant greenhouses are here at the Eden Project – a Rainforest Biome and a Mediterranean Biome. Extensive outdoor gardens also feature containing more hardy plants including local Cornwall plants. Inside the biomes exotic colourful plants jostle for space. The Rainforest Biome features a fantastic Aerial Walkway along the treetops, free flying tropical butterflies and a waterfall whilst the Mediterranean Biome is packed with exotic lemon and olive trees, enormous aloe veras and a vineyard with beautiful sculptures.
