Doncaster is a racing legend, home to the world famous Ladbrokes St Leger Festival in September. Fixtures and Highlights

Alongside the celebrated week-long St Leger Festival, other highlights include the June Derby Day with live racing, great entertainment and events at Epsom Downs shown live on a big screen. The course also hosts numerous special themed days including Summer family fun days and Father’s Day racing events. Racing features every month through the year at Doncaster, including midweek, weekend and evening racing meets. Doncaster always opens the British Flat Racing season with the March Lincoln Meeting and it ends the season with the November handicap!

St Leger Festival – September

The St Leger guarantees a thrilling week’s racing along with plenty of high fashion and glamour at Ladies’ Day included in the event. Held on the penultimate day, famous race The Doncaster Cup takes centre stage. One of Britain’s premier long-distance horse races, the Doncaster Cup is run across two and quarter miles, and is the last of the three ‘stayers’ – the Triple Crown Cups of Ascot, Goodwood and Doncaster! The festival’s last day is the event’s flagship day with iconic race, and the world’s oldest classic, the Ladbrokes St Leger Stakes – a real showpiece on the British racing calendar.
