The North Wales Path runs for 60 miles along the coast from Bangor in the West to Prestatyn in the east and well trained dogs on leads are welcome on the coast path. Snowdonia, the North Coast, Anglesey and the Llynn Peninsula all right on your doorstep make for perfect walking and touring territory with your dog!
The big attraction for furry friends in Llandudno is the Great Orme Country Park, a Special Conservation area and site of Special Scientific Interest. The panoramic views of the coast and towards Anglesey and the Menai Strait from the top of the Great Orme Summit Trails are not to be missed. Other great walks direct from the resort are along the North Wales Coast path between Colwyn Bay and Llandudno via Little Orme, and take the Coast Path’s inland option to explore Conwy Mountain with its Iron Age hill fort and magnificent views.
