Dog Friendly Beaches

Tenby and Pembrokeshire beaches are playgrounds for woofers. Dogs are welcome on a wealth of Pembrokeshire beaches, around 50 of them. Double check any restricted access – most welcome furry friends, but some beaches have dog bans in place during high summer season from 1st May to end of the September. Total Bans are in place on North Beach in Tenby and elsewhere on the coast at Whitesands, St Davids.

Partial bans are on Tenby Castle and South Beach, Lydstep, Saundersfoot beach and the promenade, Poppit Sands, Broad Haven North, Lydstep, Dale and at Newgale Beach and Promenade.
