Cardiff Bay at Night

At night, the Welsh capital city opens its doors to party-goers, stag and hen parties and people looking for a quiet drink with friends. The city is home to a selection of bars and night clubs that are sure to keep you busy after the sun goes down. Popular chains include Oceana, Revolution and Tiger Tiger, but if you’re looking for something a little different you can head to the Minsky’s Showbar with comedy and drag entertainment.

At the Live Lounge enjoy live music seven nights a week, with a DJ into the early hours of the morning, or go to the Glam Nightclub including VIP lounge. Cardiff has bars for the discerning, including the glamorous 411 Bar serving a wide range of drinks by the glass or bottle, and it’s home to the Bogiez Rock Bar which is the only Cardiff nightclub that only plays rock, metal and alternative music. Bogiez hosts live gigs, and includes a bar stocked with an enormous selection of bourbon and whisky.
