The historic harbour village of Boscastle on the North Cornwall Coast is just 5 miles from Tintagel and 14 miles south of Bude. The village is an ideal base for exploring North Cornwall and Devon, and contains a selection of charming craft shops, harbourside restaurants and ancient inns. A peaceful retreat with an unspoilt small medieval harbour cared for by the National Trust, Boscastle is surrounded by wooded valleys and moorland. Spectacular coastal walking along the coast path is within easy reach.

Accommodation in and around the village includes a selection of award-winning B&Bs close to the centre and on the outskirts a wide choice of luxury self-catering cottages and barns. Several all inclusive family holiday parks also sit close to the village and best beaches on the coast such as Crackington Haven.

Boscastle is famously home to The Museum of Witchcraft, where you can see one of the world’s largest collection of witchcraft artefacts. Exhibits include a collection of carved mandrake roots and items used for rituals and cursing. The Boscastle Food, Arts and Crafts Festival annually in early October offers the chance to sample local produce, meet celebrity chefs and purchase locally made specialist food, crafts and gifts.
