Granary Cottage sits close to award-winning Hillside caravan park at the foot of the Hambleton Hills between Thirsk and Northallerton. Sleeping four guests, the cottage is an excellent place to stay for those after a relaxing holiday close to the North York Moors National Park. Our beautiful property has incredible views and is surrounded by walking routes, making us ideal for those interested in taking in the great outdoors. A public footpath runs through the farmstead and connects up with a network of other public paths and bridleways into the North York Moors and onto the Cleveland Way National Trail.
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets to stay. We have off road parking available on our front driveway, and our cottage is located close to our award winning caravan park.

There are a number of excellent pub restaurants in nearby Knayton and Borrowby, and the bustling market towns of Thirsk and Northallerton are within easy reach. The cottage is the perfect western gateway into the North York Moors, just a short distance from Rievaulx Abbey, Helmsley and the Park's flagship visitor centre - Sutton Bank.

Take a left turn off the A19 signed for Knayton. After a 1/4 mile turn right, across the bridge over the A19. Continue on through the village. After around 1 1/2 miles our park - Hillside Caravan Park is just on the left. A note to Sat Nav users - do not turn off the road until you see the entrance to Hillside Caravan Park after about 1 1/2 miles.
