Each of the 17 en-suite rooms are uniquely styled and furnished, utilising coordinating bold fabrics in a luxurious and contemporary style. Rooms come fully-equipped with all the modern amenities and comforts one would expect from a hotel of this calibre, including free Wi-Fi access, flat screen TV with Sky channels, bath/shower combo, designer toiletries, crisp Egyptian cotton linen, direct-dial telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.
There are plenty of room types to choose from, including cosy doubles, romantic four-posters and king-size superior rooms. Bright and airy, many rooms also feature stunning panoramic views across the sea or the surrounding gardens and grounds.

The award-winning restaurant has garnered an impressive reputation for the quality of its food and drink. Specialising in traditional Scottish cuisine with a contemporary twist, dishes are prepared using locally sourced ingredients from small island producers on Skye or from the Highlands of Scotland. Guests can choose to dine in the conservatory, with its stunning views of the gardens, or in the more intimate inner dining room with its beautiful original open fireplace. For pre-dinner drinks and casual dining, The Chart Room is open throughout the day and into the evening. A comfortable bar lounge can also be found, offering a varied bar meal menu that allows you to enjoy a bite to eat in more informal surroundings.

Those wishing to experience Skye from a completely different perspective can join one of the unique sailing trips on offer daily from April to September onboard the hotels private luxury yacht. With such breathtaking scenery and luxurious surroundings, the Hotel is also a magnificent venue for weddings and other celebrations. Indeed, there is even the option of getting married on the yacht itself.

Directions to Duisdale House Hotel

The Hotel is located on the southernmost tip of the Isle of Skye, just a 10 minute drive from the A87 and only 20 minutes from the Skye Bridge and the mainland. Inverness is over a two hour drive away, and offers excellent transport links to the rest of the United Kingdom. Visitors can catch the train from here to Kyle of Lochalsh, and then it is just a 22 Minute taxi ride to the Hotel. For those flying in, Inverness Airport offers both national and international flights or there s the larger Glasgow Airport approximately a 4 hour and twenty minutes drive away.
