About these Apartments

Offering stylish apartment accommodation at a great value price in the heart of Torquay, Newhaven Holiday Apartments are the perfect choice for couples, families, single occupancy and for both business and leisure in the resort.  Our selection of holiday flats include an accessible ground floor flat and the properties sit on a level street, just a short stroll from Torquay Harbour, seafront and town centre bars, restaurants and shops.  The number 12 regular bus service also conveniently stops just 100 metres from the flats. 

Sleeping 2-4, the holiday flats are within a character Edwardian house and represent the only centrally situated self-catering apartments serving Torquay town centre and the seafront.  Three holiday flats are available across the ground, first and second floors.


Our spacious Holiday Flat 3 is a ground floor flat sleeping 3 and is wheelchair accessible (except wc) with a well equipped galley style kitchen diner featuring a microwave, full-sized cooker, fridge freezer and a toaster.  A bathroom, full gas central heating and allocated parking for 1 car are all included and a comfortable bedsit room is adjacent for groups of four, available for an extra £150 – perfect for family groups!

Holiday Flat 2 on the first floor sleeps 2 (maximum 4) guests and includes a large comfortably furnished lounge with a kitchenette including a microwave, full sized electric cooker, fridge and a microwave.  A colour TV and radio are also provided and the bedroom is a double, with a bathroom, wc and central heating all inclusive. An extra shower is also available on the first floor.

Our third property, Holiday Flat 1, also sleeps 2 and sits on the second floor, with living space including a lounge, kitchenette, double bedroom and shower room.

Other Things to Note

Electricity and gas is payable via a £1 coin meter.  Non-smoking, and no pets please.


Short breaks of two nights or more are welcome throughout the year.  The changeover day for weekly stays is Saturday unless otherwise arranged.

At the end of the M5, Exeter follow the A38 and take the left hand fork (A380) signposted Torquay and Newton Abbot.     Follow the A380 from Newton Abbot into Torquay as far as Torre Station,   right at the traffic lights along Avenue Road (you’ll pass Halfords on your   right hand side at the traffic light junction) following directions to the seafront.     At the second set of traffic lights, turn left into Falkland Road. Continue to next set of traffic lights, continue straight on into Lucius Street. Continue along Lucius Street, which becomes Tor Church Road to next set of traffic lights (Central Church on left corner), and then take first left after the traffic lights into Morgan Avenue. Newhaven Holiday Flats are at the top of the road, on the right hand side.
