Coombe Farm Bed and Breakfast is a friendly family-run 17th Century farmhouse near Lynton and Lynmouth, situated within a 365 acre Exmoor farm where the owners rear horn sheep, Red Devon Cattle and the family horses. The Exmoor National Park surrounds us and the farm is just a short distance from the Heritage Coast and the South West Coast Path where you'll find some of the highest coastal cliffs in England. There really is no better place for a quiet getaway to the idyllic Exmoor countryside. Spectacular beauty spots just on our doorstep include the Valley of Rocks, the National Trust's Watermeet and Heddon Valleys

The South West Coastal Path, which stretches 630 miles from Somerset to Dorset, runs directly through the farmland at Desolate, making Coombe Farm the ideal base for exploring the rural countryside. Also within easy reach are many quaint English villages, such as Brendon, Porlock, Oare, Lynmouth, Lynton, Porlock and Selworthy.
Activities for all the family are available in the area including trout fishing at the local East Lyn River, riding stables and boat trips from the nearby villages of Porlock, Lynmouth and Lynton.
The great Valley of the Rocks on the heritage coast, the Doone Valley famously associated with R.D.Blackmore's novel Lorna Doone and other beauty spots such as Tarr Steps, Dunkery Beacon and Horner Woods are all within easy reach of the farm.
