A cosy retreat ideal for a couple or single person, The Fisherman's Hut on the Isle of Harris sits alongside Loch Maaruig at the foot of An Clisham, the highest mountain in the Outer Hebrides. The choice of outdoor activities in the area include kayaking, cycling and walking, and The Hebridean Way is just on your doorstep! Many of Harris' stunning white sandy beaches are only a short drive away and charming cafes for lunch or coffee are within easy reach.
The hut has a contemporary open plan design with attractive natural wood flooring, central heating and tea and coffee provided.
A kitchenette area contains all essentials including a cooker, ceramic hob, fridge, kettle and kitchen sink. All crockery and utensils are supplied, and there is a small dining area.
A double bed with memory foam mattress is very comfortable, and bed linen and towels are supplied. An en-suite shower room comes complete with complimentary toiletries.
A lovely lakeside patio area is outside with a barbecue provided. A private car parking space is inclusive and under-cover bike storage space is available if needed.
Fishing and golf are nearby and the hut sits close to Luskentyre Beach with other spectacular beaches in close proximity. Paddle boarding and kayaking on the loch are an option. Guests are welcome to bring along their own boats - there is plenty of space onsite.
