Nestling in the heart of Exmoor National Park, Chapel Cottage in Exford is close to the Somerset/ Devon border and offers well appointed accommodation set over three levels. The property is a superb option for families and also accepts up to three dogs by prior arrangement. The surrounding countryside is great for hiking, biking, horse riding and fishing. Nearby village amenities include a kid's play area, shop and post office.
Enjoy relaxing in the comfortable lounge with wood burner stove, large sofa, armchair, HD Digital TV with radio channels, DVD player and CD player. The dining area provides plenty of seating for family meals and the kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster.
Double doors from the dining room offer access onto a large patio which overlooks the village green. A table with four chairs is provided and there is parking for two cars across the road from the cottage in the private car park (two allocated spaces).
The rental charge includes linen, towels and a welcome pack with homemade cake. Heating and electricity is also included and an initial supply of logs are provided for the wood burner in the cooler months. Further logs can be purchased locally. Puzzles and games are also provided.
Short breaks of two nights or more may be available at certain times of the year and the property offers low occupancy discounts. Up to three dogs are welcome free of charge.
