About this Holiday Cottage

Ideal for families or groups of up to twenty people, Lumley Fee Bunkhouse is ideally situated just a fourteen minute drive from Kendal and in a wonderful location for exploring the Lake District National Park. Presented to a superb standard throughout, this former school house retains plenty of period charm including panelled walls, sloping ceiling and there is a wood burner stove. Guests can also enjoy far reaching views over the surrounding Lakeland hills and fells.

The living space includes comfortable corner seating next to the wood burner stove and fantastic, dual aspect stained glass windows. There is also a choice of benches with further seating, a large group dining table and superbly appointed Cooks House with all cutlery, crockery, glasses, pans and utensils you may require. Wi-Fi is provided, but as Lumley Fee is made for sharing conversation and enjoying each others company, please note that there is no TV.

The private garden has a table and chairs provided.

Two pubs can be found closeby including The Wheatsheaf at Brigsteer which serves excellent food. Transport and private dining are available but must be pre-booked directly with The Wheatsheaf.
