Situated in a spectacular location on the northern slopes of Exmoor National Park, Yenworthy Barn is set on a peaceful working farm and offers beautiful accommodation for larger families and groups. The villages of both Lynton and Lymouth are set ten minutes away and the surrounding area was made famous by the novel 'Lorna Doone' by RD Blackmore.
The property offers unique 'upside down' accommodation as is entered into on the first floor with a double bedroom, wet room and living accommodation. Well behaved dogs are also very welcome and the surrounding area is home to numerous scenic walks and beaches.
The living accommodation is set on the entrance level (upper floor) and including a long dining table with ten chairs, a spacious lounge area with wood burner stove, two large sofas, a large TV and DVD player. Modern facilities in the kitchen include a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/ freezer, electric oven, hob, microwave and small appliances.
The Barn has a furnished patio where guests can relax and an enclosed garden for children and dogs. There is also access to all the farm fields, streams and a myriad of paths for walkers including coast and circuler routes. A rocky beach is set just below the farm and a short drive can take guests to superb beaches for swimming and surfing.
Amenities provided include towels, linen, a hair dryer, ironing board, iron, cot and high chair. The rental charge also includes central heating and electricity.
Short breaks of two nights or more may be available at certain times of the year. Up to four well behaved dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £15 each per stay. Please note that as the property is situated on a working farm, dogs must be kept under control at all times.
Check in time is after 4pm and check out time is by 10am.
