Welcome to Clouds B&B on the Isle of Skye, a welcoming establishment in a beautiful location, boasting uninterrupted views over the sea to The Western Isles. Peacefully situated just four miles from the ferry port of Uig, our uniquely designed home offers two luxurious rooms ideal for couples and families and is ideally located for walkers, cyclists, photographers or more casual tourists exploring the many unique locations in the North of Skye. Between late October and March, with a little luck, guests may be able to view the fantastic Northern Lights direct from the Studio balcony.

Furnished to a high standard throughout, our upstairs Studio is perfect for couples and boasts access to a private balcony with table and chairs offering uninterrupted views over the surrounding area. If you're lucky, later in the year, you may even spot a shooting star or the Aurora Borealis! The accommodation includes a cosy sofa located in front of the large picture window, feature fireplace, comfortable king size double bed and a modern ensuite shower room. For your convenience, there are also tea/ coffee making facilities, a fridge and TV.
Our upstairs Apartment room is over 40 sq m and includes a King size double bed, a unique twin cabin bedroom within the larger space and, if needed, a comfortable sofa bed. It offers much more space than a standard B&B room and there is a private outdoor area guests can relax too. The picture window affords far reaching across The Minch and The Ascrib Islands and the space includes a modern private bathroom. A fridge, tea/ coffee making facilities and TV are also provided in this room.
Our rates include our simple-start breakfast which includes a selection of cereals, muesli and granola, bread rolls or pastries, fresh butter and jams, dried fruits, fruit juice, ground and instant coffee, breakfast tea, a selection of fruit teas, milk, sugar and hot chocolate. Some items may change depending on availability.
Please note that we do not offer a traditional cooked breakfast or any meat products in our breakfasts. We are happy to try to accommodate special diets by prior arrangement.
Check in time is after 5pm - please let us know in advance if you are going to arrive significantly later than this.
A minimum night stay of two nights is preferred in main season (May-Aug), but one night stays may be possible out of season if availability allows. Stays of more than three nights or more are discounted by 10%.
The Studio Room tariff is £85 per night from October 1st to March 15th and £95 per night from March 16th to September 30th for two people.
The Apartment can accommodate two to five people and is charged at £105 per night from October 1st to March 15th. During the main season (March 16th to September 30th) the price is £120 per night. These prices are based on two people sharing. Please note there is an additional charge of £20 per night for each extra adult. Children aged 2-16 are charged at £10 per night. There is no charge for infants.
The closest village to Clouds B&B is Uig, situated four miles to the south. Along with a good choice of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes, the ferry terminal to the Western Isles (Outer Hebrides) is located here. The popular Fairy Glen is also located just south of Uig. The Island's capital of Portree is 18 miles away and boasts a large range of facilities such as a cinema, supermarket and theatre.
Head just three miles south of Clouds to find the slip road across to Staffin and one of the most beautiful places on Skye, the Quiraing Ridge - famous for featuring in movies such as Macbeth, Prometheus and Stardust. Other landmarks within a 25/ 30 minute drive include Kilt Rock, the Dinosaur footprints at Staffin beach and The Old Man of Storr.
