About this Holiday Cottage

Situated just a short walk from the village of Brampton, Lower Carhullan was completed in 2018 and was originally an unused traditional Westmorland Barn. The property has been beautifully transformed using much of the original stonework to provide superb holiday accommodation for groups of friends. Guests can enjoy access to a wonderful choice of walks right from the doorstep and the property is seven miles from Penrith. Junction 39 of the M6 can also be found just a twenty minute drive away.

Inside

The living accommodation is all set on the ground floor and includes a large living room with modern wood burner stove, bright bespoke furniture and a 55" wall mounted Samsung TV. There is also a dining area for eight people in the kitchen and modern self catering facilities include two dishwashers, a six plate induction hob, electric Aga, double door fridge, freezer, boiling water tap and convection microwave oven.

Leading off the kitchen is the handy utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, utility sink, additional freezer and a supplementary bathroom with shower, loo and WC. The ground floor boot room provides plenty of space for outdoor gear, rucksacks, waterproofs etc.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The three well appointed ensuite bedrooms are set on the floating mezzanine floor:

  • Bedroom one - double bedroom with super king size bed, flat screen TV and an ensuite bathroom with WC, hand basin and rain shower
  • Bedroom two - double bedroom with built in wardrobes, flat screen TV and ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, WC and hand basin
  • Master bedroom with super king size bed, flat wardrobes with sliding doors and great ensuite bathroom with large duel shower, WC and hand basin
