Situated just south of Kendal and within easy reach of the M6 motorway, Drumlins is ideal for couples wishing to explore the beautiful National Parks of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Boasting rolling country views, the cottage has many walks and cycle rides to enjoy right from the doorstep and sits in the picturesque grounds of Low Park Farm. The Cumbrian coast can also be reached in just ten minutes by car and nearby attractions include Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall.
The charming lounge has exposed beams and there is a large corner suite plus a reclining chair, flat screen TV with HDMI connection and a network enabled BluRay/ DVD player which gives access to iPlayer and YouTube. The dining area can seat two people and there is a well equipped kitchen fitted with a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, gas hob, electric fan oven and fridge freezer. Guests will also find two stools in the kitchen.
Wi-Fi is available throughout and the area also has strong 4G mobile signal.
The double bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and boasts lovely views over the garden and farmland beyond. There is also plenty of storage and the bathroom has a bath with separate shower cubicle and seat, toilet with adjacent grab rail and hand basin. Towels and linen are provided for guests.
The property has an enclosed patio garden to the rear with table and chairs along with raised flower beds, herbs and bird feeders. Guests also enjoy access into parts of the almost 1.5 acre grounds of Low Park Farm which surround the property.
Parking for two cars can be found to the front of the cottage and there is also a secure lock up for bikes along with a hosepipe for rinsing down.
The property is available for weekly stays only and the changeover day is Saturday.
