About this Property

This self-contained studio annex provides modern, good quality holiday accommodation for couples looking for a base from which to enjoy the delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis. Built as an annex to the welcoming owners' home, the studio apartment comprises a bed/sitting room with dining table, a newly fitted shower room with w.c. and a separate kitchen area. The owners have managed to include lots of the essentials that guests are likely to want but they have opted for a kitchenette to cater for those that don't plan to be doing lots of cooking while on holiday. A two ring hob with small oven, toaster and kettle will suit many guests preparing breakfasts and simple meals but serious cooks need to be aware of the limited options. The bed/sitting room includes a double bed and a two-seater sofa. Outside there is a sunny patio area with table and chairs and access to an allocated off-road parking space.

Location
This holiday annex is conveniently located in a residential road just five minute's level walk from the seafront, shops and other amenities in the un-spoilt Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis. As well as a sandy beach and seafront promenade, the town includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. Lyme Regis is a wonderful location for couples looking for a traditional seaside break. There are a wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award winning museum, a small theatre and a cinema. For the more adventurous, the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliffe between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. For those planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town.

Self-contained attached holiday annex on one level: A few steps down to private entrance door opening to: Entrance hallway with coat/boot space and washing machine. Kitchenette with two ring hob, small oven and fridge. Shower room with shower cubicle and w.c. (please note there is one step up in the shower room). Open-plan bed/sitting room including 2 seater sofa, TV, dining table for two and double bed, door to rear access. Outside at rear: Small patio area with furniture. Access to private off-road parking space for one car.

Gas central heating, bed linen and towels included. Please bring own beach towels. Travel cot & highchair available on request at the time of booking. Wireless internet access available by arrangement with the owners on arrival.

Other information
Off-road parking for one car. Shops, pubs and beaches a 5 minute walk. No pets. No smoking. Arrival 3.00pm - departure 10.00am. Arrival day for weekly bookings Saturday.
