Situated in a beautiful location within the Conwy Valley, The Old Rectory Mawr is a peaceful and tranquil base for exploring North Wales. Zipworld, Bouncebelow and Surf Snowdonia can all be found within a short drive of the cottage along with scenic coast and country walks. Families are welcome and the property is also suitable for outdoor activity groups.
The living accommodation includes a comfortable sitting room which is decorated in a delicate blend of pastel colours. This space is also furnished with a wood burner stove, 55" wall mounted TV and french doors into the sunroom. The farmhouse kitchen forms the hub of the house and is well appointed with a large Aga, American-style fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The separate utility room has a Belfast sink, washing machine and extra freezer. The sunroom spans the whole width of the house and is accessed from both the dining area and sitting room.
The outdoor space includes a lockable utility rom for bikes and leisure equipment. There is also a lovely lawn garden with gazebo, fabulous summerhouse and undercover decked area. The cottage also has undercover parking for three cars plus a gravelled area for an extra car.
Central heating is fitted throughout except the twin bedroom and snug at the top which have electric heaters. Logs are supplied for the fire.
There is no bathroom on the very top floor.
The cottage can be booked with its neighbour to accommodate up to twelve guests.
The changeover day for the cottage is Friday. Rates start from £77 per night (£535 - £1175 per week).
Well behaved pets are accepted by arrangement - £20 per stay fee applies.
