About this Holiday Cottage

A peaceful haven which was originally part of the Duke of Northumberland's Estate, Goldcrest Cottage is situated in the village of Fenwick and within a short, scenic drive of a superb range of coastal and historic attractions. Perfect for families of up to six people, the cottage has a lovely garden and charming features such as a wood burner stove in the lounge.

Inside

The large and well equipped sitting room has two sofas, Freeview TV, a DVD player and a log burner stove. A dedicated dining area can be found just off the kitchen which has a light oak table for up to six people. The modern range of kitchen facilities includes a washing machine, electric oven, hob, fridge, microwave plus plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and cookware.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

  • Ground floor family bathroom with overhead shower and a heated towel rail
  • Double bedroom with sleigh bed and plenty of storage. This room also offers lovely views to the front garden and village
  • First floor double bedroom with king size bed, storage and views over the garden, sea and the northern shores of Holy Island
  • Twin bedroom with velux window, fitted storage and views over the sea and rear garden
  • Ensuite with wash basin, WC and radiator

Outside

The cottage has a small private garden to the front and a rear garden with lawn and mature shrubbery. 

Outdoor furniture and a BBQ are provided.

An unusual addition to the exterior is an old pigsty which is now obviously not in use but fully clean and safe, ready for the kids to explore.

Other Things to Note

The rental charge includes electricity, oil central heating, an initial supply of logs for the fire, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels. 

A welcome tray including milk, bread, eggs and wine is provided.

Availability

Short breaks of two nights or more may be available at certain times of the year. Please note that this property does not accept pets.
