About this Holiday Cottage

One of the few properties in Beadnell boasting uninterrupted sea-views, The Haven is owned by of the area's oldest families and provides a superb base for exploring all that the beautiful Northumberland Coast has to offer. Families, outdoor activity groups and nature natures are all welcome and surrounding areas include the Northumberland National Park (45 minutes drive), Berwick upon Tweed (30 minutes) and Alnwick (20 minutes).


The light and contemporary lounge has a warming open fire in winter,  two comfortable sofas and an armchair, Freeview TV, DVD/ CD player and there is also a dining area with antique pine table and four chairs. The compact kitchen is well appointed with a 'Stoves' oven and electric hob, a dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and there is a further utility room with washing machine and overhead airer.

There is a small, unenclosed front garden with grass and shrubs, and enclosed rear garden, plenty of seating and parking for one car on the driveway.

Storage for bikes and other leisure equipment can be found in the garage which is also a good place for drying off wet weather gear. 

Other Things to Note

The rental charge includes bedding, bed linen, towels, kitchen towel, tea towel, oven glove, electricity, oil central heating, hot water, supplies for the open fire between October and March, a welcome pack for preparing hot beverages and Wi-Fi service.

Please note that while outdoor activity groups are welcome the house is not equipped to meet the needs of divers.


Short breaks may be available within thirty days of arrival and during off peak times. Up to two dogs are welcome at £25 each per stay. Cots and high chairs can also be hired by please note that the staircase is too wide for a stairgate to be fitted.
