Situated close to Porlock's wonderful beach and range of attractions, Honeysuckle is a superbly appointed mid-terrace cottage which dates back to the late Victorian era. Newly refurbished to a high standard throughout, the cottage has two double bedrooms, an outdoor seating area and characterful amenities including a wood burner stove.
The cottage is ideal for exploring both the coast and country breaks to Exmoor National Park with numerous tea rooms, independent shops, pubs and restaurants closeby. Enjoy exploring the beautiful coastline or head in land to Porlock Vale; stone-age remains can also be found just a short distance away and the surrounding area is perfect for birdwatchers or nature enthusiasts.
The stylish and comfortable lounge is well appointed with a large corner sofa, feature fireplace and large flat screen TV with BT/ Netflix. The space is open plan through to the dining area with wood burner stove and glass topped table with four chairs. The contemporary kitchen is well appointed with dishwasher, electric oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment plus plenty of cookware, crockery and glasses. A washing machine can be found in the bathroom cupboard.
Two Sonas speakers are provided at the cottage and guests can log on via the Wi-Fi to listen to music from their phone/ laptop.
The cottage has a small courtyard to the rear with table and chairs. Access to the property is via a footpath which runs along the front of the row and is shared with others in the terrace.
Parking is not available immediately outside; facilities can be found 100 metres away on foot from the High Street or from Doverhay along The Drang.
Please note that this property is not suitable for children under five years old.
The rental charge includes electricity and heating costs plus an initial basket of logs, kindling and matches for the fire. Duvets, bed linen and towels are also supplied.
Basic cleaning materials, loo rolls and a stock of tea, coffee, sugar and other non-perishables is also provided.
Short breaks of two nights or more may be available at this attractive cottage. Two dogs are accepted at an extra charge of £15 each per stay.
Arrival time is from 4pm and please vacate by 10am on your final day.
