Once the inspiration-giving workplace of the author, Hammond Innes, the studio is a fifteenth century building and guests enjoy access to a medieval-style summer house in the handsome grounds.
The attractions of the historic county town of Ipswich can be found less than half an hour's drive away.
The beautiful open plan accommodation includes a large feature fireplace with electric wood-burner effect stove, exposed beams, large sofa, armchair, a stained glass window and a TV with Freeview service. The magnificent super king-size mahogany bed sits in the centre of the space and there is a dining area with two chairs overlooking the garden. A large wall unit cleverly forms the self contained kitchen and facilities include an electric cooker, combination microwave and fridge/ freezer.
The luxurious wet room has underfloor heating, a shower, WC and hand basin.
The charming communal grounds have a medieval-style summer house (which guests enjoy exclusive use of), lawns, floral borders and there is off road parking provided.
The rental charge includes bed linen, towels, electricity, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi service. The Bell Inn, which serves excellent home cooked food, can be found 400 yards away.
Short breaks of three nights or more may be available at certain times of the year. Please note that this property does not accept pets.
