About this Holiday Cottage

Newly refurbished to a high standard throughout, Stable Cottage in Wheddon Cross is a delightful retreat for couples close to the wonderful walks, horse rides and other outdoor activities in Exmoor National Park. At 1704 feet above sea level, the village is situated on the highest point in the Park and the surrounding area is home to 'Snowdrop Valley', the Coleridge Way for walkers and other 'picture postcard' villages. The Somerset coast, including Minehead, can be found ten miles away.

The charming living accommodation is open plan and includes a wood burner stove, Freeview TV, a leather sofa, armchair and breakfast bar with two stools. Modern self catering facilities in the kitchen area include a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric oven with hob, small appliances including a cafetiere plus plenty of crockery, utensils, cutlery and glasses.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

  • Double bedroom with king size bed
  • Modern shower room with walk in shower

The property has a private, unenclosed garden, a driveway for private parking and a small lawn area.

Local amenities in Wheddon Cross can be found a quarter of a mile away and the seaside resort of Minehead is ten miles away.
