Full of charming period features throughout, Low Hollin Cottage in the Duddon Valley is a traditional stone cottage with ivy walls, slate walls, exposed beams and beautiful views over the surrounding fells. The village of Seathwaite and the local country pub, The Newfield Inn, can be found a short drive down the lane and other towns such as Broughton in Furness and Coniston can also be found closeby.
The living accommodation includes a cosy sitting room with wood burner stove, plenty of comfortable seating and access into the garden. There is also an armchair, dining table with eight chairs, TV and an Ironheart stove in the area next to the kitchen. Modern self catering facilities include a gas range cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Cook books are also provided.
Guests can enjoy relaxing in the enclosed private garden with patio, lawn, flower beds and seating areas looking towards Caw Fell and the Coniston Fells. There is also a bench at the front of the property, a carport and driveway parking for two cars.
The rental charge includes heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and Sky TV. Please note though that due to the rural location of the property, the Wi-Fi is not suitable for streaming - web browsing and email only.
Short breaks may be available at certain times of the year. Up to three pets may be accepted by prior arrangement.
The nearest pub is one miles away and shops can be found four to eight miles away. Public transport links are eight miles away.
