Four detached luxury glamping tents are available at Tanrhiw Glamping in the peaceful village of Cwrtnewydd. Rustic style Lotus tents overlook deep valleys, farmland, rolling hills and woodland bordered by a babbling stream. Living space in each tent accommodates a family of five and luxury glamping experiences are very popular with couples. Stunning views and starry skies are assured. The rural site is surrounded by activity opportunities including walking, mountain biking, fishing and watersports along nearby Cardigan Bay.
Lotus tents are cosy and warm with log burning stoves and a canvas outer door with a mosquito net layer just behind that door. Tents have roll down canvas blinds, zip open PVC windows keeping out heavy rain and behind that a mesh layer keeping out mosquitoes as well as ensuring maximum air flow during hot summer months.
Tents have rustic interiors and maximum breathability with large roof vents, a rear wall vent and a zip in groundsheet keeping out all bugs. Flooring is coir matting which is very hard wearing and serves as an insulation layer.
Luxury tents are available from March to September each year. Short breaks are offered.
The Cwrtnewydd area in Mid Wales is within easy reach of Cardigan Bay and perfect for an activity break with fishing, mountain biking, coasteering, cycling and walking all available nearby.
A pub is within 5 miles of the site and nearby National Trust beauty spots include Mwnt and Penbryn beach. Take a dolphin/wildlife watching boat trip from Cardigan Bay or a tour of nearby Cors Caron nature reserve.
Just to the North near Machynlleth sits the Dyfi Osprey Project where you'll often spot Red Kites.
