Unique luxury glamping is available at Tanrhiw Glamping in the quiet village of Cwrtnewydd in Mid Wales. Penbryn Tent is one of four detached luxury lotus style tents situated at the end of a farm track with stunning views and surrounding farmland, valleys, rolling hills, woodland and a babbling stream. Luxury tents are perfect for couples and families with cosy log burners and local activities ranging from cycling and walking to nearby watersports and wildlife watching boat trips on Cardigan Bay.
One of four luxury glamping tents, Penbryn is detached with a rustic style interior and is equipped with a canvas outer door and a mosquito net layer just behind the door. It also has roll down canvas blinds, zip open PVC windows which keep out all heavy rain and just behind them is a mesh layer keeping out mosquitoes and at the same time allowing maximum air flow during the hot summer months.
Maximum breathability is assured with large roof vents, a rear wall vent and a zip in the groundsheet which will keep out all bugs. Flooring is coir matting which is hard wearing and serves as an insulation layer.
A double bed is available in all four tents, with extra mattresses for additional sleeping space if required. Each tent also has a cosy log burner.
Glamping tents are available from March to the end of September each year - short breaks are offered.
Perfect for activity breaks and within easy reach of Cardigan Bay, the Cwrtnewydd area is surrounded by activity opportunities including cycling, walking, fishing, mountain biking and coasteering. Take a dolphin/ wildlife watching boat trip off nearby Cardigan Bay or visit Newquay and the pretty harbour town of Aberaeron.
Nearby National Trust beauty spots not to be missed include Mwnt and Penbryn beach. Cors Caron nature reserve is also nearby and just to the North near Machynlleth sits the Dyfi Osprey Project where Red Kites are very common.
