Situated in beautiful riverside gardens, Bratton Mill Cottage forms part of a former mill which is set in the valley beneath Bratton Fleming. Full of period charm and character, the cottage is the ideal base for exploring Exmoor National Park and the scenic North Devon coast including Barnstaple, Braunton, Croyde and Ilfracombe.
The cottage has a comfortable sitting room with wood burner stove, two seater sofa, easy chairs, a flat screen TV, DVD and radio. The kitchen area is well appointed with a washing machine, dryer pulley, freezer and dining area with four chairs. The ground floor also has plenty of space for coats and boots.
There is a private garden (unenclosed) to the front of the cottage which is bordered on one side by the stream. Outdoor seating is provided and there is also parking or two cars closeby.
The property is tucked away down a private lane which is shared with two other holiday cottages. Each has it's own parking space and garden but there are not enclosed.
Arrival time is after 3pm and please check out by 10am.
The rental price includes Wi-Fi, electricity, central heating, linen and towels. We also supply a basic stock of household sundries, tea/ coffee making supplies and non-perishables such as salt, pepper and oil. A full range of beautiful china, glassware and cutlery is also provided.
There is no mobile reception at the property.
The property is available for both week-long bookings and short breaks. Two dogs are welcome by arrangement at an extra charge of £15 each. Please do not allow pets on the furniture, upstairs or leave them alone in the property.
