A choice of cycling and walking trails surround the farm, and we have a games room plus a private nature reserve and tarn which guests are welcome to explore. Well-trained dogs are welcome with a range of dog friendly facilities available including covered kennels.
The interior of this cottage is furnished to a high standard. The ground floor has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with cosy sofas, a TV and DVD player, and a dining table for 4 people.
A modern kitchen is fully equipped with a range of appliances, including an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and dishwasher.
There are two bedrooms at this property: a master bedroom with a double bed, and a twin bedroom.
The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over. In addition, should guests need them, a baby bath, changing mat and toilet step are also available for your convenience.
One of the best features of this charming cottage is the surrounding 200 acres of open countryside, which includes a children's play area, patio furniture and a barbecue.
Cockermouth is an ancient market town in The Lake District, and is a peaceful location for a relaxing holiday. Within the surrounding area are a number of popular attractions that guests may like to visit, such as Cockermouth Castle, Isel Hall, and Wandsworth House and Garden.
The area is also popular with outdoor enthusiasts, and is packed with walking and hiking routes, cycle paths and climbing activities.

Leave the M6 at Junction 40 (Penrith) and take the A66 west first exist. Continue along the A66 towards Keswick. Go past the first turning for Keswick and continue to the next rounadabout. At the roundabout take the third exit signed for Carlisle (A591).
Continue along this road until you come to the Castle Inn Hotel on the left. Carry on and take the next left signed for Sunderland and Isel. Follow this road to a T-junction and take a right turn.
At the next junction take a right signed for Sunderland. Linskeldfield Holiday Cottages are located 500 yards further along on the right.
For visitors coming from Carlisle, take the A595 heading towards Cockermouth. At Bothel take a left onto the A591. Carry on for 1km (1/2 mile), then take the next right signed for Sunderland.
Follow the road through the village and carry on for another 1/2 mile, then take the first track on the left signed for Linskeldfield Holiday Cottages.
