About this Bed and Breakfast

This newly opened Bed and Breakfast provides homely accommodation for visitors to Whitby, with a friendly atmosphere and situated in an ideal location close to the town center. Perfect for both business and leisure, Number 18 boasts great facilities and luxurious bedrooms, so you're sure to feel right at home and get a great nights sleep.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

All of our guest bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, with home comforts ensuring that your stay is a comfortable one. All of our beds have cotton sheets and duck feather king size duvets.

There is a double bedroom available, with a large en suite shower and power shower.

All rooms include fluffy towels, Freeview HD TV, movies available through NOW TV and Fairtrade organic beverage items.


Guests can choose from a cooked breakfast, of a variety of continental breakfast options:

Around and About

Number 18 lies on the path of The Old Railway Cinder Track, which if you follow in one direction, takes you into the centre of Whitby, and if you follow in the other direction, takes you into the popular areas of Ruswarp, Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough.

The route is popular with cyclists and walkers, and until 1965 transported goods and passengers along the North Yorkshire Coast.

Other popular attractions that guests may like to visit during their stay include the Museum of Victorian Science, Pannett Park, Whitby Beach and The RNLI Lifeboat Museum.
