The amenities of Cornhill on Tweed are just 1.5 miles away and the cottage is ideally placed for exploring both Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
The cosy lounge has a high beamed ceiling and a wood burner stove set in the feature fireplace. There is a comfortable two seater sofa, three armchairs, book shelves, a TV, DVD player and CD/ radio. The cottage also has a lovely dining area with six high back arched chairs and a fully fitted kitchen well equipped with a dishwasher, washer/ dryer, electric oven, hob and microwave.
The lawn area surrounding the cottage is entirely fenced and there is a west-facing patio area with dining furniture and barbecue. Parking for three cars is also available.
Opportunities for farm walks, fishing, tennis and hill walking can all be found in the nearby area. Young children are welcome with a cot and high chair provided. The rental price includes utilities such as underfloor heating.
A minimum stay of two nights applies. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement.
