About this Holiday Cottage

Enjoy a relaxing break to the Lake District and stay at Rose Bank Cottage in Coniston. Situated close to the village amenities, this attractive 1820's cottage was originally built for local mineworkers and has charming features including a brick and marble open fireplace. The lovely terraced garden is access across the narrow lane and offers views of the rolling hills and beautiful sun rises.


One main room with -
Sitting room area with log burning fire, colour TV, DVD & CD player. The brick and marble open fireplace faces leather sofa and chairs, and the stone floor is rug covered. A window seat provides a great vantage point for taking in the view.
Dining kitchen with cooker having an electric hob & oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave & washer/drier. 

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Bedroom 1 - with double bed & en-suite shower room & WC and lake views.
Bedroom 2 - with king-size bed (or twin single 2'6" beds) & en-suite bathroom with shower & WC. 


Across the lane there is a terraced garden with steps, shrubs & garden furniture. Parking for 1 car opposite the cottage - other parking in the area.

Other Things to Note

Gas central heating, initial logs for open fire, electricity, Wi-Fi & bed linen.  Towels, travel cot & high chair are available to hire.

Short breaks of three or four nights are welcome. Dogs are welcome at £25 per week each.

The lane to the cottage is steep, twisty & narrow! Please drive carefully.
