Situated in the heart of Stogursey and occupying a fantastic location overlooked by the Quantock Hills and rolling Somerset countryside, The Greyhound Inn provides an ideal base for families, couples and individuals.
Our friendly Inn offers a relaxed and courteous service, with cosy and comfortable rooms and open fires in the front lounge. We have a fully stocked bar serving a variety of wines, spirits, real ales and lagers and a menu of hearty lunch and evening dishes served in our onsite restaurant.
We provide free Wi-Fi throughout the inn and a CCTV protected car park which is free for guests to use.
Double Rooms
We have three generously sized double rooms which are complete with bedroom furniture and en-suite shower rooms. Each room has a TV and DVD player, a well stocked hospitality tray and free Wi-Fi access. Luxury bed linen and towels are provided for your arrival.
Apartment
We also have a three bedroom apartment onsite providing the perfect accommodation for families and groups of up to six. Bedrooms comprise a double and two twins with access to a fully tiled family bathroom complete with shower facilities.

Our restaurant is open every day of the week and serves a selection of lunches and evening meals. We served a wide selection of hearty traditional English dishes and light lunch options including jacket potatoes and Ciabattas.
Opening times are as follows:
Monday and Tuesday; Evenings from 7pm - 9pm
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Friday and Saturday; Lunches 12pm - 3pm; Evenings 5pm - 9pm
Sunday; Lunches 12pm - 4pm; Evenings 4pm - 8pm
Our sports bar is fully stocked with a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and we also host the local darts and skittles teams. We show BT Sports live and the bar and lounge are used for pub quizzes, open mic nights and live music nights.
We are available for short and weekend breaks throughout the season. Both business and leisure travellers are very welcome at The Greyhound Inn.
The quaint village of Stogursey is nestled within the Quantock Hills in the Somerset countryside. Steeped in history, the area boasts spectacular walled gardens, country parks and the famous Stogursey Castle ruins which are set on their own moated island.
Stogursey offers the best of English countryside heritage and is only a few miles from the dramatic Bristol Channel coastline. We are also situated 3 miles from Nether Stowey and 8 miles from Bridgwater.
The Greyhound Inn is the only pub in the historical Somerset village of Stogursey. The village lies 3 miles away from the A39 and a 15 minute drive from J24 on the M5.
