The lodge has a cosy log burning stove and is fully insulated making it warm in winter and cool in summer. Living space is appointed to a very high standard with all modern comforts. From the outdoor covered deck you can relax and soak up the beautiful sea and mountain views, listen to larks in surrounding fields (from which the lodge gets its name) and spot our Pedigree herd in distant meadows. A pub in Carsethorn is only a 5 minute scenic stroll away along the beach.

Our three Carse Bay luxury lodges are just off the A710 Solway Coast road from Dumfries. Continue through Islesteps and New Abbey, passing a village shop on your left. Take the turning off the A710 to Kirkbean village, continue on through the village towards Carsethorn, across a stone bridge over a burn, then take the very next right turn signposted Arbigland Farm Deliveries and Carse Bay Chalets. Then take the first left down a farm track and you will see the log chalets just at the end on the left hand side.
