Miodar Mor Cottage is a luxurious beach holiday home in the village of Kildonan on the south coast of the Isle of Arran. Sleeping up to 8 guests, this spacious property has spectacular uninterrupted sea views. Furnished to a high standard, open plan living space leads out to a balcony with spectacular views across to the off shore islands of Pladda and Ailsa Craig, the Firth of Clyde, the Scottish mainland, the Mull of Kintyre and on clear days the east coast of Ireland is visible.
The property has a large lawn which leads down to the shore-side road and is a great spot for watching otters, seals, gannets and other wildlife. Ample off road parking is available on the driveway and Miodar Mor is dog friendly and family friendly with free WiFi included. The beach is adjacent and local amenities as well as a bus stop are nearby.
The living area leads to a balcony with uninterrupted sea views and the property has a private garden with a large lawn leading down to the shore-side road.
Wheelchair access is available.
Private off-road parking and secure bike storage is provided.
Free Wi-Fi access is available and linen and towels are provided. Dogs are welcome by arrangement charged at £20 per dog.
Double glazing and central heating are throughout.
A travel cot and highchair are both available. Accommodation is non-smoking.
Arrival is from 4pm and we request guests vacate the cottage by 10am on their departure day.
Changeover day for 7 night breaks is Saturday and the price is inclusive of electricity and heating.
If you're arriving at Arran by ferry, from the terminal turn left at the Tourist Information Centre and head south travelling through the villages of Lamlash and Whiting Bay. About 2 miles after Whiting Bay turn left, signposted the Kildonan Hotel, and continue down to the shore road. Miodar Mor Cottage is about 350 metres past the Kildonan Hotel entrance.
