Offering luxury 5 Star boutique accommodation in the heart of the North York Moors near Whitby, Eighteen97 Bed and Breakfast in Goathland is a charming period property and a perfect romantic bolthole for adults. Eighteen97 was originally built as a holiday home for the German classical pianist, Christian Gotlieb Padel, and his initials are still inscribed above the door along with the date of construction.

Guests are welcome to enjoy a game of quoits in the garden of sit back and admire the views from the terrace. Set in one acre of peaceful gardens and with wonderful views over the moorland, our B&B has three ensuite rooms each brimming with luxury touches and sympathetically styled to the 19th century period of the property.
Each room is named after a classical composer and includes a flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod dock, radio alarm and a hair dryer. Contemporary ensuites are finished to the highest standard with white porcelain, travertine marble and ample sumptuous towels, fluffy bathrobes and branded toiletries.
