Continue along the A590 to the A591 bypass and a large roundabout on the edge of Kendal. Take the first exit signed for Hawkshead via the ferry.
Continue on for about 7 miles passing through Crook village, and past Windermere Golf Course. Stay on this road until you reach a T junction. At the junction take a left turn and Brooklands is 20 yards along on the left.
From Bowness, at the mini roundabout head towards the lake. Take a left turn at Vinegar Jones (fish & chip shop) onto Kendal Road. Continue for about half a mile and you will arrive at Brooklands on your left.
If you do miss the turning and the lake is to your right, continue on until you reach the Hawkshead ferry turning on your right. Just past this turning on your left is Longtail Hill. Turn here at the junction and Brooklands is directly opposite.
