All of our comfortable bedrooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard, and include a hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary hand-made, organic toiletries. The beds are made up with Egyptian cotton sheets, and there is a flatscreen, Freeview- enabled television in all of the bedrooms.
Also all of our suites have a lounge or sitting area, and for an extra charge, extra guests can be accommodated in additional beds or on the sofabed. We have four rooms with disabled access and pet- friendly.
We also have to 'canvas cottages' which are ideal for romantic glamping breaks or families. There is a log burner stove in each and and our award winning breakfast is included in the nightly price.
Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am, and all of the food is locally sourced and of the highest quality.
Guests can choose from a full Continental buffet and a full English breakfast, including eggs Benedict and kippers, fresh fruit and granola.

From the M6: Exit the M6 at J38, Tebay. Follow the A685 east towards Kirkby Stephen. After about 6 miles, shortly after passing Newbiggin-on-Lune, Ravenstonedale is signposted to the right. Take this road which leads into the village. After passing the King’s Head on your right, take the next right turn. Pass the village school on your right and keep left to find the Black Swan Hotel on your right after another 200 metres.
From the A1: Take the A66 west from Scotch corner to Brough. Turn south at Brough on the A685. Follow the A685 through Kirkby Stephen. About 4 miles past Kirkby Stephen, Ravenstonedale is signposted left. Turn left on to the minor road and left again after 200 metres. Pass the village school on your right and keep left to find the Black Swan Hotel on your right after another 200 metres.
