A warm welcome is assured at Birch How B&B in Keswick, a cosy Victorian guest house that we have personally refurbished to include modern fixtures and fittings. We have a total of three guest rooms available, and we serve both breakfast and dinner every day in our attractive dining room. We are happy to accommodate all dietary requirements, if informed in advance, and we have both meat and vegetarian options available daily. Guests will be able to keep in contact with friends and family while staying with us thanks to our WIFI connection, use of which is completely free of charge.
Breakfast is served between 8am and 8.45am, while dinner is served at 7pm. There is an additional charge for those of you dining with us at dinnertime, with a lower price for children under the age of 12 that are staying with two adults. We also cater for special diets.
We have both off road and roadside parking available, and we can help you with your luggage when you arrive.

Keswick is a beautiful Lake District town, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. There are lots of walking routes for you to follow both in and around the area, so whether you want a strenuous hill walk or a low-key stroll along one of the public footpaths we’re perfectly placed.
Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake are within easy reach, where you can go boating, fishing, bird watching and more. We are situated just down the road from the Keswick Leisure Centre, where you can go swimming, and we’re also just a short walk from the town’s museums, including the Keswick Mining Museum, the Cumberland Pencil Museum, the Keswick Museum & Art Gallery and the mind-bending Puzzling Place.
