Burnside is a homely bed and breakfast in Keswick, offering warm and traditional Cumbrian hospitality. It's complemented by stunning Lake District scenery and located close to many local walks and drives.

Owners Sharon and Peter have worked in Keswick's hospitality industry for most of their lives, so they know a thing or two about making guests feel right at home.
Each room at the guest house is decorated using British period paints from Farrow & Ball, wallpaper and curtains by William Morris & Co., and furnishings and fittings in solid ash and brass. They're also individually lit by a Tiffany light fitting.

Rooms are available for check-in between 3:00 and 9:00 pm on arrival day and must be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
From the north/south: Leave the M6 at Jcn. 40 and take the A66 west to Keswick for 16 miles. Take the first exit for Keswick and keep left at the swept junction. Burnside B&B is on your RHS after 500m opposite the junction for Castlerigg Stone Circle.
For a scenic route from the south: Leave the M6 at Jcn. 36 and take the A591 via Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere. Follow the A591 for about 20 miles until you reach the traffic lights just south of Ambleside. Take the left hand fork passing the Waterfront Hotel on your right and follow this road through Ambleside, turning left at traffic lights where the one way system ends. Follow the A591 for about 15 miles until you start to descend into Keswick on Chestnut Hill look for a turning on your right marked M6, Penrith, Workington etc. Turn right here and you will find Burnside B&B 30 metres on your left hand side.
